Verydarkman NGO, receives N100m support from Don Jazzy.

Nigerian activist, Martin Otse, popularly know VeryDarkMan, VDM, has confirmed that receipt of N100 million from renowned music producer, Don Jazzy as contribution to his Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO).

VDM shared the news on October 17 through his verified Instagram account, expressing both surprise and deep gratitude for the donation.

Verydarkman had earlier raised concerns over receipt of anonymous N100 million donation, which shot up the total balance in his NGO account to N170 million.

He had also appealed to Nigerians and Zenith Bank for help in identifying the donor, clarifying that he had no involvement in any fraudulent activities and was unaware of who made the contribution.

However, VDM later revealed that Don Jazzy, personally reached out to him and confirmed that he was responsible for the generous donation.

Don Jazzy message read: “Morning bro. Just saw your post. Na me send 100m to support. I believe in what you are doing and trust you to be as transparent as you have always been. We really need that in our country. I wish you all the best with the project and more blessings to you. E no easy.”

VDM, expressed deep gratitude to Don Jazzy for his generosity, noting that he never expected such a large sum from the music mogul.

He explained that the NGO was established to help children in public primary schools who lack access to quality teachers and teaching facilities.
