Bobrisky regains freedom, warns against naira abuse:

Popular crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has completed his months jail term and has regained his freedom.

The Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC had on April 5 secured Bobrisky’s conviction for mutilating naira notes. .

Bobrisky, who warned against abuse of the naira following his release from prison, said “You have to follow the rules and abide by the laws. Don’t spray money, or you will become a landlord in Kirikiri.

“It is not just about killing or any criminal activity that can bring you to prison. Something as light as spaying of naira can take you there.”

Speaking on his next line of action, he said “I’m only focusing on my good energy right now on people who were there for me, like my friends. You see, any other person, I’m not interested. So, I don’t want to talk about them. I’m really grateful to my friends and loved ones.”

The social media celebrity was charged by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on four counts bordering on naira abuse.

During the sentencing, Justice Awogboro, who handed down the sentence to the cross-dresser without the option of a fine, stated that the ruling would serve as a warning to others who abuse the naira.
