Dare Aliu TDA Celebrates Birthday, Unveils Book Everything Will Be All Right, Alongside New Widows’ Empowerment Foundation

On Saturday, October 26, 2024, the Civic Centre in Ikoyi, Lagos, hosted a memorable and heartfelt celebration, marking the birthday of Dare Aliu TDA, Group Managing Director of TDA Group Africa, and the official launch of his new book, Everything Will Be All Right: The TDA Story.

The event which was filled with worship, praises, and prayers, set a reflective and inspiring tone as family, friends, and colleagues gathered to support the seasoned entrepreneur, business development strategist, and philanthropist.

TDA, as he is fondly known, was joined by his closest family members, including his mother, wife, and two children, for this monumental occasion. The event, infused with celebration and gratitude, provided guests with an intimate glimpse into his personal and professional journey, with Dare sharing insights into the legacy he aims to leave behind.

During the event, Dare took to the stage to reveal the deeper motivations behind his decision to author Everything Will Be All Right, an autobiography. He explained that the book serves multiple purposes, primarily as a legacy for his children, particularly his son. “I want my son to understand the value of hard work and the hardships that pave the road to greatness. I hope he learns not to misuse the privileges he has and understands the importance of extending a helping hand as he grows,” Dare shared. This message, which resonated deeply with attendees, underscored his commitment to instilling values of perseverance and compassion in the next generation.

The second reason for writing the book, according to Dare, was to provide investors, sponsors, and potential business partners with a comprehensive backstory of TDA Group’s journey. With TDA Group expanding across various sectors in Nigeria, the book aims to highlight its growth trajectory and the foundational principles that have driven its success. Dare hopes that this transparency will further inspire trust and encourage investment, providing partners with the confidence to contribute to the Group’s continued development.

Finally, Dare dedicated the book to his friends from his early years, hoping to encourage them by showing that greatness is attainable with dedication and determination. The sincerity in his voice was met with applause, reinforcing the admiration felt by those who have witnessed his journey firsthand.

The book launch also marked the unveiling of a charitable initiative close to Dare’s heart—the TDA Foundation for Widows. To commemorate the launch, TDA Group made a significant contribution of ₦10 million to the Foundation, with Dare announcing that 50% of the proceeds from the book’s sales would also support the Foundation’s efforts to provide financial assistance, vocational training, and empowerment for widows across Nigeria. This initiative further emphasizes his commitment to uplifting underserved communities and providing resources to those in need.

In a special segment of the evening, key contributors to the book’s development were invited on stage to share their thoughts on the impact and significance of Everything Will Be Alright. Many recounted Dare’s passion, resilience, and unwavering vision—qualities that are intricately woven into the book and serve as the backbone of TDA Group’s achievements. The testimonies brought to light Dare’s influence on the people around him and reinforced the book’s message of hope and resilience.

In his closing remarks, Dare expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all who have supported him throughout his journey. He extended thanks to his family, colleagues, and friends, acknowledging their invaluable contributions to his life and career. “I am deeply thankful for everyone who has played a part in my growth and the success of TDA Group. Your encouragement and belief in our mission have been the greatest sources of strength,” he concluded.

As guests enjoyed refreshments and shared reflections on the day, Dare’s celebration stood as a testament to his dedication, not only to his career but to giving back to society. The dual unveiling of Everything Will Be Alright and the TDA Foundation for Widows symbolizes his ongoing commitment to creating a lasting legacy—one that combines business success with social impact.
