The National Grid had at about 2 pm on Wednesday collapsed again making it the twelveth time this year and as usual; sending many Nigerians into darkness .
An official in statement on X said ” A major grid setback has occurred and restoration is to commence “
As of 4:14pm, work appears to be ongoing as he grid has yet to be restored.
The frequency of the National Grid collapse, exposes the vulnerability of the power sector in a country that earnestly seeks foreign investment and the government seem not to be too keen in tackling the corruption that have bedeviled the sector and ensure uninterrupted power supply.
