NNPCL Reduces Fuel Price To N890 Per Litre.

Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has again reduced it pump price of petrol for the second time in one week.

The state-owned oil firm on Wednesday, reduced its petrol price from N895 to N890 per litre, representing a N5 per litre downward price review.

A drive around the federal capital territory, showed that NNPCL retail outlets along Kubwa Expressway, Gwarimpa, Wuse Zone 4, and others in Abuja have adjusted their pumps to reflect the new price.

NNPCL latest adjustment came just a week after it implemented a retail price slash.

Meanwhile with NNPCL retail outlets n one hand now dispensing fuel at N890 per litre, Dangote Refinery’s retail partners, such as AP Ardova, Optima, MRS, and Bovas filling stations on the other hand, sell at N885 per litre.

Earlier, the President Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria’s National Abubakar Maigandi, had said that because of the deregulation of the oil and gas downstream sector, fuel prices will continue to fluctuate
