Stakeholders to Lead Conversations on Agribusiness Sector Opportunities at Propcom+ 2025

Leading investors, development partners, financial institutions, and agribusiness executives are set to converge at the Propcom+ 2025 Agribusiness Investment Deal Room, scheduled to take place from November 18–19, 2025, at the Four Points by Sheraton, Lagos.

Jointly convened by Propcom+ and Welcome2Africa International (W2A), the two-day high-level gathering will focus on unlocking finance and investment opportunities across Nigeria’s agribusiness value chains. The event will spotlight climate-smart and low-carbon agricultural enterprises as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen sustainable food systems and boost private sector participation in agricultural transformation.

According to the organizers, the Propcom+ 2025 Deal Room will provide a structured platform for targeted investment matchmaking, partnership building, and transaction initiation between investors and investment-ready agribusinesses. The initiative also aligns with Nigeria’s national priorities on food security, inclusive economic growth, and environmental sustainability.

“The Deal Room represents a major milestone in connecting capital to credible, growth-driven agribusiness ventures,” said a Propcom+ spokesperson. “Our goal is to facilitate real investment transactions and strategic partnerships that will drive innovation, job creation, and resilience in the agriculture sector.”

On her part, Welcome2Africa International CEO, Bamidele Seun Owoola, emphasized the importance of collaboration among private investors, development partners, and local enterprises:

“Nigeria’s agribusiness ecosystem holds immense potential, but we must bridge the financing gap. The Propcom+ 2025 Deal Room offers an actionable platform to channel investment into scalable, climate-resilient agricultural solutions.”

The event is expected to attract over 200 participants, including agribusiness founders, venture capital firms, donor agencies, commercial banks, and policy representatives. In addition to the investment matchmaking sessions, the agenda includes panel discussions, keynote addresses, and deal activation showcases, all designed to facilitate meaningful engagement and measurable outcomes.

Media organizations, development communicators, and sector reporters are also invited to partner in providing pre-event visibility, on-ground coverage, and post-event reportage to amplify the event’s outcomes. Full access to media materials, press kits, and interview opportunities will be provided upon confirmation.

Propcom+ is a UK-funded program that works to promote inclusive and sustainable agricultural market systems in Nigeria by driving private investment, improving productivity, and supporting climate adaptation for smallholder farmers.

Welcome2Africa International (W2A) is a leading trade and investment facilitation organization dedicated to driving sustainable economic growth across Africa through investment promotion, capacity building, and partnership development.
