No fewer than Two hundred and seventy persons with disabilities in Bayelsa state, have benefited from the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC Supportive Aid Distribution.
Addressing beneficiaries in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital, the state office NDDC Director, Mr. Godknows Alamieyeseigha, said the commission has good plans for people with disabilities.

Alamieyeseigha, explained that the aids were to assist them overcome their challenges, insisted that NDDC believes in human capacity development in addition to project delivery.
Some of the Beneficiaries appreciated NDDC for the gesture , saying it would be of great relief and help to them and pleaded for employment opportunities in the commission.
Items distributed to the beneficiaries included crutches, magnifying glasses, Brail, hearing aids, walking frames, among others.
